Crimson Bubble Collective
4 Young Leaders delivered a creative feminist workshop involving dance, badge-making, fannypack decorating and informal discussion.
About
Rosalie, Vivienne, Rosa and Amber wanted to expose young people to the arts in a safe, creative zone, free of judgement and inclusive of all backgrounds, with particular focus on young, female creatives who are considering a career in the arts by making them feel supported and empowered. Together they delivered a creative feminist workshop involving dance, badge-making, fannypack decorating and informal discussion.
Impact
12 Young females of various ages attended the workshop learning new artistic skills where they normally would not, raising positive awareness about feminism and building their confidence in a safe space. The dance workshop also served to give participants the chance to express themselves freely whilst also learning how it all links to self-care.
Future Developments
The girls would like to develop further on the same concept in the future, expanding into a long time period of sessions and working with a specialised group.
