Dine 'n' Discuss Careers Networking
An evening of career insight and networking
Young Leaders from Notre Dame school organised an evening of career insight and networking with a view to raise awareness of different careers and the aspirations of other young people. The Young Leaders arranged for volunteers from a wide array of careers, as well as catering for all the participants. They asked their peers to attend from their school as well as promoting to other young people.
22 professionals volunteered their time for 73 students to ‘Dine ‘n’ Discuss’ their careers with them. Crystal (15) said “it was very useful and you can discover careers you wouldn’t have thought of”.
98% of students said they had increased aspirations for the future as a result of the evening.
