Girls Football in Hatfield
Martha became a qualified football coach and started her own girls football club.
About
Martha wished there had been a girls football in her local area when she was younger and realised there were girls in the area currently wishing the same. So she used the funding to gain a level 1 coaching qualification and then used her newly gained skills to run a series of football coaching sessions for young women aged 11-16.
Impact
The sissions gave young women the opportunity to improve their football skills in comfortable environment, improving both their confidence and their sense of community.
Future Developments
Martha intends to keep running the Girls football club well into the future, gaining more new members as time goes on.
