Rosendale Christmas Party
Young people from Rosendale organised a Christmas Fete
About
Kwame worked with young people at the BTT+ club to organise and facilitate a Christmas fete for the Rosendale neighbourhood, enabling the local community to get together not only to have fun but also to raise both money and awareness for the homeless.
Impact
The young people that participated gained organisational and project management skills, working as a team to come up with their own bold and imaginative ideas for the fete. Residents from all over the rosendale area took part in activities such as, music, dance and mural painting on the community’s graffiti wall.
Future Developments
Kwame would to take a different approach in the next Christmas fete, opting to focus his efforts on supporting other stalls around the fete, rather than focusing on running his own stall.
