Rosendale Sports Day
A sports day held in the Rosendale area
David and Linus held a community Sports Day event to create a deeper sense of cohesion and togetherness in their community as well as raising of the local BTT+ youth club. They held the event in Brockwell Park and promoted the event to all the surrounding residents.
Over 25 people showed up to the event, with DJs performing music, a barbeque and of course, sports day activities such as egg and spoon race, sack race etc. It was great fun and as a result the youth club started to see more new members coming in.
The sports day event was quite successful and people were immediately asking when the next would be held. David and Linus plan to answer this with another sports day event being held some time in the future.
