Social History Project- Notre Dame
A project to shoe the differences in people's life by conducting interviews with people in the community
A group of inspiring young people at Notre Dame decided to implement the Social History project to celebrate diversity and encourage people to express themselves.
Young people developed valuable communication and interview making skills. They have interviewed different people in their family and the community around them. Young people got a chance to talk to people about topics and ask questions about their childhood that they have never got a chance to ask.
Young people produced a book at the end of their project, documenting the stories of the people who they have interviewed. The book was printed and distributed.
Young people said: the book is amazing and we are all very proud of it. They would defiantly recommend the Young Leaders Programme to young people their age.
