Standing for Children With Cancer
Supporting and visiting a children's cancer hospital ward
Wanting to raise awareness of childhood cancers and support those children in hospital with cancer, the Young Leaders from Plumstead Manor visited a children’s cancer ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and arranged for an entertainer to visit the children. The project aimed to increase personal health and activity for patients by providing them with entertainment to increase their well-being.
The Young Leaders were able to buy meaningful presents for children on the ward as requested by their parents.
