Thamesmead At Heart

A project to promote community centres and hubs in Thamesmead

Daniela and Alisha, as a team,  created content for all of the Thamesmead Community hubs including Peabody Community Centres and Hubs. This was in forms of photographs and time lapses in and around the hubs. They were working to a client brief (Peabody Thamesmead and Link International) where they have been asked to create content for their social media platforms and website. One of the main issues is that people from their community do not know where the hubs are located, or what there is that organisations offer. For this project, they want to ensure that the community know where services are located and all the services the hubs provide.

All the content that Daniela and Alisha produced was Sent to Peabody and Link International to use on their social media and website. We hopefully want their content to be on future websites, such as the Link Thamesmead, or Peabody. Their project title ‘Thamesmead At Heart suggests that this project is personal and they wanted to elucidate how this town is a family and the hubs are a way of support and gathering the community together, ranging from children to young adults.

Daniela and Alisha said that: ‘This has made us understand what it is like to work to a client brief and how to add our creative minds to the work we created. We now feel more confident in creating content for clients and understand how we can add our own idea into the work.
