Yemzi Fashion Design Workshops
A 3 day fashion design workshop at Pembury estate for young girls
Young Leader and entrepreneur Elizabeth held a fashion design workshop for three days at a Pembury estate, teaching creative skills to a group of young girls. Taking inspiration from their favourite music and activities, they created a fashion mood board and fashion repeat design.
The girls were highlighted to a job role that many young girls are not commonly aware of. They were taught how the skills they gained over the course of the 3 days could be transferred into a professional environment. The work they created can also now be used in a creative portfolio for the future.
Yemzi plans to continue running the fashion design workshops, delivering them as far as estates in Bournemouth.
